If we could have a massage everyday, we definitely would! At Mobile Massage, our therapists are able to direct bill for the service that you receive, allowing for your healthcare benefits to potentially pay for some or all of your treatment! Sort of like a free massage, but you have to work a little to get it. We have created this blog to answer some of our frequently asked questions surrounding direct billing.

How do I know if I have healthcare benefits?

Typically you get healthcare benefits through your work or if you pay for an additional plan. If you’re worried about not having benefits, you can always ask the Human Resources department at your workplace and learn more about what benefits you do have, or you can contact your healthcare benefit provider directly to see how much they cover for massage.

What insurance companies do you bill to?

At Mobile Massage all of our therapists are registered. We offer direct billing for most major insurance providers:

What if my benefits don’t cover the entire massage?

Although we do direct bill, it’s always best to be prepared in the event that your insurance provider won’t cover the massage for whatever reason. Some plans prefer that the client submit the claim for the service, whereas others simply do not cover for massage treatments.

When you book your treatment with us, we request your healthcare provider benefits information, so that we have it on file to direct bill once the treatment is over and you will be aware of any outstanding fees on the day of the treatment.
